EASI Full Body 27 Images Demo Guide

  1. Go to https://demo.belle.ai and select the AI module.

  1. Upload the corresponding images and enter a Subject ID.

  1. Then, the AI will analyze the image, providing an overall EASI score sum across four body regions (with a range of 0 to 72).
  • The EASI result breakdown is made up of four regions that are assigned their own score: (1) head/neck, (2) upper extremities, (3) trunk, and (4) lower extremities. Each region is assigned values on (a) erythema, (b) edema/papulation, (c) excoriation, (d) lichenification, (e) % of area involvement, and (f) multiplier, a fixed value based on body area.

  • By clicking on the “heatmap” checkbox, you may visualize a heatmap for each image. Click on each cell within an image’s heatmap to see the values for that particular cell.

  • “Show body part” outlines the AI’s identification of various body segments per image type in red while “Show skin area” outlines the AI’s identification of skin in green. Click the respective checkboxes to see these outlines.

  • See “Area of Involvement” and “EASI Score Interpretation” keys for information on the standardized grading scales.

  • The Oops Score checks if the image contains human skin. An Oops score of 1 means the image does not contain any skin.

  • The Image Quality Score evaluates image blur and sharpness. The larger the score, the better (0.0 - 1.0).

  1. You may revisit previous analyses via the History tab (located on the sidebar) which automatically saves previous results.
